The Moche Route, a project moving forward |

PromPeru, the Peruvian Comission for the Promotion and Export of Peru will initiate next year a program to Communicate and Promote Tourism to the Moche Route of Peru, the includes the states of Lambayeque and La Libertad. The target is that this area becomes the second most visited destination in the country after Cusco, as commented by the Minister of Tourism, Martín Pérez Monteverde, that also informed that the investment rises to 4'000,000 nuevos soles.
The minister informed that the investment will be used for roads, improvement of tourist centers, security of visitors and instalation of water services in the towns and villages that surround the tourist destinations.
“Archaeology, culture, cuisine and museum ruchness in both states, added to excellent weather and great roads, allow us to offer an attractives tourist product to national and foreign visitors, as well as to guarantee the sefaty and comfort of the visitors with good highways, clean and organized cities, good hotel capacity and excellent restaurants”. |
